The project comprises the development of a high-end luxury
resort in the Maldives, known as The Royal Rosewood Resort.
The resort is strategically located located on a secluded
island with a total land area of approximately 809,800 sqm,
positioned about 34.5 km from Velana International Airport,
and is accessible via an approximate 40-minute speedboat
journey.
The development is set within the expansive Ranfaru Lagoon,
spanning approximately 500 hectares, an untouched marine
environment characterized by a north–south oriented reef
system, two naturally formed inner bays, and pristine soft
sandy beaches surrounding the island. The lagoon is free from
permanent land formations, offering a unique and exclusive
setting with uninterrupted ocean views and exceptional environmental quality.
The project has a total Built-Up Area (BUA) of approximately 95,092 sqm
and is planned as a comprehensive, world-class hospitality destination.
The development is organized into 13 distinct construction packages,
encompassing a wide range of facilities including:
A central village and arrival experience
Guest villas (overwater and beachfront)
Luxury residences
Beach clubs and leisure facilities
A private island component
Back-of-House (BOH) and supporting operational buildings
Associated infrastructure and service facilities
